(Full Disclosure: This is not my house)My little neighborhood gives out 4 awards for
the houses with the best Christmas Lights.
I am determined to win...
This year I am going with the C7 Bulbs around the outline of the house,
industrial mini-lights (that can hold 6 sets back to back)
on the front yard trees, rope lights along the flower beds,
netting lights on a few of the shrubs and bushes and
icicle lights on the chiney rooftop.
To top it off I have obtained a
Giant Baby Jesus in a Inflatable Snow Globe for the side of the driveway.
(just kidding, but wouldn't that be kind of interesting?)
Each night I go outside to inspect the display,
repair any burnt bulbs and dream of what I could go buy
with the $25 to Target they hand out to the winners.
In all seriousness, I have had to rethink my obsession with this contest
after my friend Sean showed me this:
Just watched your video Matt. It was really great. Wish I had seen it before I bought Anna the two dresses she plans to return because they are both too big for her... But, this year we did spend so much less than before and were able to give more. It feels just right.
