with Christmas, a few days off and New Year's...
My family spent Christmas Eve at St. John's Lutheran in Orange
for an amazing Christmas service in German,
than over to our church, Calvary Church, for a candlelight service
in the evening.
Christmas Day was spent relaxing with our Mittmann family.
The next day, we drove up to Santa Cruz, Ca to spend some
days with my side of the family.
New Year's Eve I officiated and we attended Jessica and Steve Reigal's wedding,
what an incredible wedding, I was so honored to be a part of it.
Besides getting sick (again!) on New Year's Day, eating more than I wanted to (so many cookies) and having our son decide 6am is a good time to wake-up this month, we have had a nice, enjoyable couple of weeks...
Been Reading:
"Ministries of Mercy" by Tim Keller
"A Long Obedience in the Same Direction" by Eugene Peterson
2 Corinthians 5 (the Bible, New Testament)
Been Watching:
Football, Football and more Football
(My son Samuel said his 4th word this week, which was "football")
"Nativity Story" (first time watching this movie, really enjoyed it)
"The Quiet Man" (John Wayne visits Ireland and takes no prisoners...JW!!!)
"Bells of Saint Mary's" (Bing Crosby at his best)
Been Listening to:
Podcast on "Planting Churches" by Tim Keller
Christmas Music on Pandora Radio
