What Would You Do?

My Friend received a e-mail story that made him literally cry,
and now he is forwarding the e-mail to everyone he knows.

I read it for myself and something didn't sound right.
Checked it out on Snopes.com and few other fact checking sites
and discovered it is a completely false story.

What should I do?

A. Tell the guy and make him feel stupid and gullible
B. Simply send him the link to Snopes
C. Do Nothing
D. Get someone else to tell him

What would you do?

  1. Yes, I have thought about that, but I believe the only people reading this blog these days are myself, you, my Grandma and some lady who dislikes Christians named Kate.

By the way my friend isn't Victor, although I do consider Victor my friend.

  5. I pretend to read just so I can say that I read the best blog at Calvary... ya know, I think I'd better check Snopes to see if that's true or not cause I know a few blogs out there that are right on your tail brutha.... if you know what I mean.

  7. I would tell him that it was a false story. If he is your friend, then he will appreciate you being honest and helpful to him. Just like if I ever have spinich on my teeth, I hope you will tell me and not have me continue talking to everyone with it there. You know, he'll probably just laugh at himself for being so gullible. Oh, and by the way I faithfully read your blog too. It's the best by far - and I am telling you the truth.

  10. Option E. Speak the truth in love to him so he can be more discerning and not tossed around by waves (Eph 4:11-16). I know Paul is talking about doctrinal issues here, but helping him see the small things like internet hoaxes might help him train his mind to be more discerning with the bigger doctrinal issues.

    'In Love' vs 15
    'In Love' vs 16

Loved your sermon on Sunday! Loved the passion you bring God's Word to His people...great job!! Gotta watch my evil eye too.
